We’re building a community home in Juigalpa Nicaragua, in which people with and without intellectual limitations can be at with each other, because we believe that every person is valuable, that we need each other and that we can learn from each other. Please help us build a more human society! On this page we outline two ways in which you can support us.

To initiate the project in Juigalpa we need funds for:

• rent of the community home, water and electricity
• furniture
• daily living cost of the community home residents
• personnel costs of care assistants, activities coordinator and administrative clerk
• medical expenses for the home residents
• materials to run the activities centre for residents and neighbours

The money for the project would in the first years have to come from sources outside Nicaragua, largely from the Netherlands where Vivir Juntos is based. We appeal to existing funds, our own network, and the general public.

Each contribution gets us closer to our target amount, fills us with gratitude and brings us moral support.

Over time the project in Juigalpa will increase their fund-raising and income-generation activities in Nicaragua through the government and individuals so that the support from the Vivir Juntos foundation can be phased out over a period of 5 years.
